Seminar 27th April 2007: ?TRADEMARK AND DESIGN: PROTECTION STRATEGIES AND DEFENCE?

In the context of the cooperation agreements among the Office for Harmonisation of Internal Market (OHIM) and the national offices from France, Italy, Portugal and Spain, the Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM) will organize the international seminar: “Community trademark and design: protection and defence strategies”.The event is supported by the Institute for Industrial Promotion (IPI) and it is under the patronage of the City of Venice and the Superintendence for Environmental, Architectonic and Landscape Public Property of Venice.The initiative will be held in Venice, at Palazzo Ducale, on 27th April 2007, Sala del Piovego, and it is co-financed by the UAMI. Topic of the seminar will be the analysis of Community rights on trademark and design: the seminar will also deal with the most recent topics of policy enforcement, as well as the practical measures to fight against counterfeiting, supported by cross-border cooperation agreements.Participation is free of charge and open to the public upon registration. Simultaneous translation will be available in the following languages: English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.
