Chapeau: Moroccan agency for promotion and economic and social development APDS in the southern provinces implemented 220 projects for a combined value of some 400 million euro between 2004 and 2006, as part of the five-year 2004-2008 plan.
Texte: According to what director general of APDS, Ahmed Hajji, pointed out during a meeting with the members of the social affairs committee at the parliament, the projects implemented aim at modernising the infrastructure and at reducing the poverty rate and social exclusion of the southern part of the country as part of the National Initiative for Human Development. The mission of the APDS Agency is to study and propose the development strategies and seek the financing means needed to favour the concession and realisation of projects with economic and social impact on the provinces of Moroccòs south.
